The leather smells rich and feels sturdy right out of the box, exactly what you'd expect from something handmade in Germany. The stitching is clean and the clasp closes with a satisfying snap. I've already tossed it in my carry-on for a weekend trip and it holds my razor and brush without bulging.

The compact size fits perfectly in my dopp kit without taking up space, yet it's sturdy enough to protect my razor on a week-long trip. The cowhide leather feels substantial and the handmade stitching looks clean.

The leather has that nice, firm feel you’d expect from cowhide, and it’s compact enough to slip into a carry-on without taking up space. I just wish the closure were a bit sturdier, but for a weekend trip it does the job fine.
