Picked this up after eyeing it for weeks, and the bristle density is exactly what I hoped for—it lathers straight up in the bowl without any fuss. The handle has a nice heft to it too, so it feels solid in hand.
The knot holds water perfectly and stays soft on the face the whole time, no scratchiness at all. I've tried cheaper brushes before, but the lather it builds is noticeably denser and warmer.
