MÜHLE VIVO Rasierpinsel in Braun: Care and Maintenance

Quick answer

To keep your MÜHLE VIVO Rasierpinsel in Braun performing well, rinse thoroughly after each use, squeeze out excess water, and store it bristle-down in a ventilated stand. Avoid soaking the handle or using harsh cleaners.

Diagnosis and care steps

• Symptom: Brush bristles feel sticky or matted after use.
• Likely cause: Residual shaving soap or cream left in the bristles. This can happen if the brush isn't rinsed thoroughly after each shave.
• Corrective action: Rinse the brush under warm running water until the water runs clear. Gently squeeze the bristles from base to tip to remove trapped soap. Avoid twisting or pulling the bristles. Perform this rinse after every shave to prevent buildup.
• Stop or choose another option: If the bristles still feel sticky after rinsing, soak the brush in a bowl of warm water with a few drops of mild shampoo for 5 minutes, then rinse thoroughly. Do not use hot water or bleach. If shedding persists, consider replacing the brush.
